Not for many, many years. The whole revenge thing is highly over-rated. What it means is, you care so much about this other person, that you're going to risk ruining your life, doing something stupid, or looking like a jerk. Most people are so NOT worth that.
Now, having made myself sound like a saint, I will say I have allowed someone to screw up royally and publicly, with just a little casual nudge from yours truly. I find giving them the opportunity and watching them take it to be more than enough satisfaction. Plus, I haven't ACTUALLY done anything. (Nope, not qualifying for sainthood)

Me personally, no, nothing evil.
But a friend of mine has. This is what happened:
She's ten years younger than me, so her and her partner are both in their early twenties. They had been together for three years, had a child ,got engaged and then he got her pregnant again....and left her. He told her he didnt want to have any more kids. Her wanted a single life. The truth was, he was actually seeing (behind her back) a woman twice his age who had three children, and he then moved in with her.
My friend was devastated, she was pregnant, alone with one baby already and it really broke her heart.
So she bided her time.
He came round to visit their eldest child. While he was there, she seduced him he stayed the night and they got back together.
Because she was pregnant she had thrush at the time they got back together. She passed it onto him.
And when he asked her what to do about the thrush, she just shrugged her shoulders and said : It's like coldsores, once you have it, you have it for life.. thrush in men is incurable...and he was too embarrassed to ask about it.
Thats revenge for you.
She's still choosing her moment to tell him he just needs to use some of the cream she keeps in the medicine cabinet.
I'll say she's certainly paid him back!
