If you don't go to college and play - try looking into the nearest semi-pro team.

Try looking into the AFL(Arena Football League) or CFL(Canadian Football League), or the the European League. If you are good enough the NFL might recognize you. The only player that i can think of that made it really big from the CFL is the 2 time MVP and 1 time Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner.

Try looking in to semi-pro football. There are several leagues throughout the United States. Here is a link you might want to check out.

Try Miami-Dade Jail. They've got a good team with all the U. of Miami players in there.
