Texas is an "at will" state. Meaning an employer can fire you for virtually any reason, including just not liking you.
If you can prove some form of discrimination. Age race religion etc, you might have a case. Or getting fired for something others in the same workplace did not get fired for.
My brother is a labor lawyer in Texas and as he told my wife who was dismissed after hurting her back unloading dresses from a truck, "do you really want to work for these people anymore?"
He did write a letter and make some phone calls. She received a months severance, her vacation pay and they had to pay her medical bills under workers comp for a year.
Unless you can't get another job, or this really was discrimination, just move on. Perhaps a job with your former employers largest customer, were you can call and complain about the lack of service since your dismissal.....lol

Although colt was mostly right, you do not provide enough facts to form a valid opinion.

Why exactly were you fired?

also, you CAN be fired for doing something at work that others have done and continue to do. What you can't be fired for is doing something other people of a different race, religion, etc. do and you were fired for doing it and BECAUSE of your race, religion etc.

Also, discrimination itself is not illegal. And Federal anti-discrimination laws in the workplace do not cover employers with less than 15 employees so we would need to know how many work at the location where you were employed.
