I was on my laptop as usual and suddenly the charger started to make noises and then when i looked down at it steam started to come out from it, so i instantly switched it off and nothing happened, but i don't want to risk usuing the laptop again incase it catches fire! Before this though it had difficulty in switching on and wouldn't always connect properly with the laptop, it also wasn't charging the laptop it was only making it run without charging. what do i do now?

i would suggest you buy a new charger instead of having it repaired... repaired charger won't last long.

Get a sparkling charger. while the pc is grew to become off, unplug the charger. it extremely isn't any longer... no longer probable too healthful for the charger to be plugged into the wall continuously. I already went by 2 chargers. i does not danger having that element plugged in continuously. My pal's charger caught on hearth before because of the fact he left it in the wall the full time.

you can buy a new charger, but id have the laptop checked out too. if for some reason you leave it on and your otherwise involved, it could start a fire.

if the laptop still has warranty, go to the dealer and have the laptop cord and laptop repaired for free. if not, then have them repaired but you gotta pay.
