no, i don't think he'll die. if he does, then there'll be no meaning to the book, and all he's fought for. when J.K.R say's 2 protagonists will die, i don't think he's included (although he is the main protagonist) i think she means snape- remember the "curse" on the DADA teachers? and some one else. besides, she writes in the sream of conciousness method and it will be quite awkward for her to end the book with "the thought of the dying writer". If its sopposed to be the last book, then it's sopposed to resolve everything

That is the $64,000 question, isn't it.? My belief is no.
First, I disagree with the idea that Harry is a horcrux. I won't go into the argument deeply, but it goes against the thrust fo chapter 23 in HBP, that suggests the Voldemort was going to use Harry's death to create the last horcrux.
My major reason for doubting that Harry will die is that these are children's/young adult books.
While authors of YA book occasionally kill off their protagonists, children's authors don't. There is enough children reading HP to make me think that is the last thing she'll do. The firestorm would be tremendous and it goes against what we know of her character as well.

I sincerely hope not. Coz that would really suck! I think there would be no meaning to all that's gone on so far in the series if Rowling kills off Harry Potter.

Yes he does. He wakes up to find all the previous books have been a dream and goes off to school with his brother and sister, Ron and Ginny.
Ooops - hope that didn't spoil things for you!
