Vitamin C. Vitamin C works by reducing the damage caused by free radicals, a harmful byproduct of sunlight, smoke, and pollution. Free radicals gobble up collagen and elastin, the fibers that support skin structure and make it plump (not you plump! Your skin plump!) and flexible.

I've never heard about vitamin C helping your complexion, but I do know from personal experience that vitamin E helps! More importantly, drink lots of water, get lots of sleep, ecercise periodically, and lay off the junk food. What you eat really does show up in your hair and skin. Those who eat healthfully and do some physical activity every day have the most beautiful skin. :)

Hi....... wht d'u mean by a healthy complexion? If ur talking about clean skin, then yes, the topical application of citrus fruits like tomatoes and oranges is great for the skin....so are avocadoes and lemons. As for the tablets of vit C, they're gr8 for preventing deficiencies and preventing infections.

But remember, vit C dries out the skin too so moderation is the key..
