Any ideas of some fun things that don't cost too much we can do together this summer. Even if they are educational (but fun). I want to make memories since my oldest is 16. Youngest is 13. Thanks for suggestions.

Give them each an implement to work out in the yard and tell them that you do not want to hear the wored "bored" come out of thier mouths all summer longl

camping , planting a garden , arts and crafts , driving lessons for the 16 year old , playing a video game , walks in a park , going to the beach or lake , museums ,bake cookies , tell stories , just being together as a family is always the best.......whatever you all do , enjoy each other and never stop saying ,"i love you"

Strange but true:
Its not funny you can teach your children to COOK and its
not only educational and beneficial in the long run but it
gives them a sense of Independence when they know they
themselves can cook a healthy meal all by themselves.

I was gonna say arts and crafts but theyre too old for that. Go camping maybe i dont know something out doorsy.

i dont know how out-doorsy you are but i always liked going to a state park and walking around or having a picnic. i wish my parents wouldve done more with me before i graduated high school. theres just no time now.
