There isn't much chance of recovering usable data from a reformatted drive.
I suggest you start over but this time, make backups of all of your data

it depends on the type of format you did. if it was a quick format, then yes, you can get your data back, but how well is still a question. full format, then no. full format takes several hours. I know of some recovery software alright, but what's legal for use in india, I don't know. I know some that's for use only in the USA... google ntfs data recovery software and see what comes up. besides, you would probably want something local if you had to go with a service anyway.

"FREE + Faster" (FREE=freeware) now, those two words rarely go together and if they did, it's either not FREE (probably a shareware, illegally distributed/pirated or free unless you want to save the files....) or faster to scan but can't recover...
Data recovery takes time... have it scan through it while you sleep or something, if you sit in front of your PC waiting for it to finish, it will seem like a lifetime...
I'm sure you know this already but, whatever you do, don't save the recovered files onto the drive you've got more data to rescue from.
And make a backup/copy of the drive even if you couldn't recover much of the data. (well, you might as well not overwrite it and get a new HD) Even if you can't recover them now, you still might be able to in the future as long as you've got the drive and you don't overwrite it. (I've recovered files 3 years later with a different program that I couldn't afford back then.) As long as you keep the drive untouched; there's still hope even if you can't recover them now. (especially with freeware...)
Good luck man!

You can try downloading and installing Recuva. It is a recovery software from the same company as CCleaner. You can download from http://www.filehippo.com Like CCleaner it is very fast. .It also depend on how big the drive is and the amount of data you have.
