I just saw a guardian article that the Germans (it wold have to be) are developing scanners that can predict a persons intentions with a 70% success rate. Why can't the government just bugger off and leave us alone to get on with our lives. We managed before without all this crap, surely we can carry on without this stupid technology?

There is no accuracy because the 30% error is dangerous which can cause many discrepancies in case of apprehension.

I find it hard to belive. I would need to read it myself.

On the other side that could have very pratical uses like using it to know what girls think.

well if you would like to know what i think, and that would be to improve the securtey with more police, and more CCTV cameras
