my friend got tackled while playing football,and he hit his head.The following day,he started having headaches,vomitting, and on and off fever. Could this be related to his hit or is it an isolated febile illness?

Yes fever can be a sign of a brain injury. Go to the emergency room and see a doctor or go to your primary doctor to get referred to a neurologist. A Fever can mean 1000 things so please get checked out! Peace and Blessings!

Yeah, I would get that checked out if I were him.

A girl got killed when struck in the head with a hockey puck. It didn't happen immediately.

A Korean boxer got killed when struck too many times on the head. It didn't happen immediately.

I don't mean to sound morbid, but being on the safe side is always the best thing. The cranium is more fragile than we realize.

probably it is comotio cerebri, transitory disorder of central nervous system
X ray image can show eventual skull fracture,
it is important that permanent brain damage is excluded
