... because i think i heard on some television show that the actor is signed up for next season.

Yes both of the actors that play Peter and Nathan have signed contracts for next season, meaning both characters somehow survive the explosion. How this happens though is anyone's guess. Just have to wait until next season to find out.

Maybe, maybe not.
Sylar is dead, or not, but if he is not then he may chose to be Nathan, or not, but if he does then obviously the actor stays in the series as either Nathan, or Sylar pretending to be Nathan, or Candice pretending to be Nathan.
At any rate somebody gets to be senator.

i think he will and so will peter . peter most definately cause he has the regeneration thing from claire remember ? nathan we will have to see next season.

we don't know if Nathan survives, for that matter we don't "know" if Sylar survives. we know he was alive, but hurt really bad.
