It may be that you cannot get your license until you are 21 as you have been convicted of felony in another State and Idaho is a much more conservative State than Washington.

You or your parents (if they are OK with you driving) should hire a lawyer in Idaho to find out what your options are based on your prior conviction.

Even if you may be legally deemed to drive, expect of you or your parents to pay an exhorbanant fee for insurance that may change their (your parent's) decison.

What is a legend drug?

Even if you move you will still not be able to get your license. You went before a court. The court ruled you would not be able to get your license until 90 days after your 16th birthday. No matter what the age to drive is in any state, you must abide by the ruling. If I were you I would not try to get by this as it could result in a bigger punishment.

I'd say go down to the DMV in Idaho and tell them your situation and they will let you know what you can and cannot do. Most workers at the DMV are rather nice and reasonable and should help you resolve this problem.

I got my license moved back as well. I live in PA and when I was 16 I got an underage. Since they couldn't take my license away they suspended me from getting it until I was 17. So no permit till I was 17 and no license till 17 and a half. It sucked my senior year in high school. There was nothing I could do about it either. I took the stupid alcohol class and got my record cleared, but still had to wait that extra year.

Good Luck. You'll be driving soon. Even though you may have to wait till after 16, you will still be getting your license probably 6 months before most kids your age.

You should feel fortunate. In California they passed a law 2 years ago. The law: You can't get your license until you are the age of 18. (It used to 16 years of age) Why? Because they found out almost 40% percent of accidents in California were caused by teenagers around the 16 to 17 year old range. A large percentage of that was due to under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You being caught with the possession of illegal drugs just solidifies the reasoning of why California did what they did. More states may soon follow the example of California and it couldn't come any sooner !!

I guess the best advise i can give you is to just suck it up and wait for it then. You did the crime so there for you do the time. And what the heck is a legal drug?
