If the will has already entered probate, you can find some information about it online at the probate court's website IF the court is technologically-savvy. If you have a valid question - for instance, you are researching someone's heirs in connection with your job - many clerks will be willing to research for you if the information is available. Try calling the clerk in the office - be professional and polite, and DO NOT LIE about why you are asking for the information. If it is not appropriate or would infringe on someone else's right to privacy, they will let you know.

Wills only become public records when they enter probate.
The only wills I am aware of on line are those related to genealogy. Few counties/parishes have the funds to put marriage licenses/titles/wills and etc. on line.
