Heaven in the Hebrew Bible is used as a synonym for "sky," and there is considerable evidence to show that in the ancient world people thought of God as quite literally a "sky dweller." The term is used this way, for example, when the psalmist writes: "The heavens declare the glory of God." (Psalm 6). And Jesus echoes the image when he addressed God as: "Our Father, in heaven."

2: the dwelling place of the Deity and joyful abode of the blessed dead.
2b: a spiritually state of everlasting communion with " GOD ".

4: a place or condition of utmost happiness
5: Christian Science belief : a state of immortality in which sin is absent and all manifestations of Mind are harmoniously ordered under the divine Principle.
I believe it is a place of peace and harmony with " GOD ".

in the bible, when a person dies, he can either go to heaven or go to hell, depending on what good or bad actions he/she has done when alive.
but, in our words today, we usually say heaven when we are feeling good in a place where we are staying.
for example,
a man steps in a place of interest and says "this is Heaven"
