There was two major religions, that of the druid (Druidism) and also the Celtic religion of the Tuatha Dé Danann, for more information you may want to look for a copy of the Mabinogion. But Druidism seems to have been more widespread. Each of the Isles seems to have had their own pantheon originally but some of the Gods and Goddesses were very similar.

A number of religions existed, including druidism and shamanism, although the majority of the population followed the Celtic Mythology of the Triple Goddess, both before the introduction of christianity and after the Romans withdrew, taking alot of the support for the Christian Church with them.

I would also say druidism (which is pagan), but the norse gods and goddesses were also introduced at some point. Paganism wouldn't be a religion as they believed differently than Native Americans (also Pagan).
