We made a complaint to the social workers supervisor and now the S.W. is triying to take him away from us. She is wrighting on her reports to the judge that we are un fitt. We love our Ruben and she wants to take him to my sissters mother inlaws house where he can be abused by her alcoholic husband. theire all drug users and alcoholics. who dont have jobs. im so stressed i dont know what to do....

You're not telling us the whole story, are you? There must be a reason why they want to take him away. What is it?

I'm not trying to be mean, but I would be hesitant to trust you with a child just from what you've written in the short question above.

It's not just about what you feel other people are doing wrong....what are YOU doing, for this child, that's right and good for him? Social workers don't always have appealing choices, but I do believe they make an effort to advocate for the children under their care. Complaining about the person with the child's best interest at heart probably wasn't a great thing to do if you wanted to be taken seriously as a possible guardian. You should have been working with the social worker, not against her.

you should of never complained for one, and they should check out home if he is to be moved has their ever been any police reports done on the drinking and drugs if so get them.
