It means that I have a right to be alive, and to make decisions concerning my own personal welfare as I wish (as opposed to another making them for me). Pursuit of happiness means I may exercise all of my natural rights to the best of my ability, and take satisfaction in knowing that I did my very best -- or, if my efforts turn out poorly, in knowing that I can improve myself and do better the next time I have to do it, or indeed for any future event.

Simply to live your life as you see fit within the confines of laws and minimal government intervention. That is what is so worrisome about this current Repub administration and Republicans in general. The Repubs claim they want smaller government and less government controls but they continue to erode our individual rights at almost every turn. The Repubs seem to want a Corporate government (which is very close to fascism).

it means to freely live your life without a dictator aka a guardian and a so called biological father who just puts you down all the time and thinks that your the scum of the earth and wishes that their adult offspring had never been born as it was said to my mother many years ago but no matter how many times the family tries to knock me down and tries to keep me down i just get back up just like the boxing guy rocky, ya gotta get the eye of the tiger and ya cant back down just like tom Petty's song otherwise those ppl win. no one tells me what to do im an adult with a mind of '' my own '' and as long as im not killing anyone etc. then nobody has the right to dictate to me what '' my life'' is gonna be or not be.

Freedom from tyranny, that is always a threat, even today. Having liberal Democrats in power is like living in slavery, the antithesis of this statement.

Having legalized abortion is the antithesis of this statement, and I speak on their behalf. Truly, those innocents who are killed are deprived of these basic rights.

It has been said that when decent leaders are in power, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Those words to me mean freedom from being ruled by scum Democrats.

I can do what I want, you can do what you want. As long as were not out stabbing puppies, we have to let others live their lives, without interference.
We have to respect each other.

That we all "have a dream".

That is something nobody can ever take away from us.
That is freedom, and that is what it means to me.
