That only happens if the team your trading has enough salary cap space to accomodate the High Paid Player. Trading draft picks especially top picks have been a long time bait to other teams to out to look for established good additional pieces at their helm.

Not only for Draft picks because a 1st round pick is worth $3.5-4 million. Cash consideration has to be within the deal also.
