I really don't think they need to tweak the team very much. A few plays at the ends of games, a couple of bad breaks (bloody nose, Horry hard foul) go the other way, and they would be in the conference finals right now.

I don't think Marion is going anywhere, despite what people are buzzing about. Marion is a fan favorite, and the owner said that he'd be willing to spend above the luxury tax threshold to have a good shot at a championship. Nash still has 3 good solid years in him before age catches up...he keeps himself excellently conditioned. They need to give this core group another shot.

One person they need to try to move however is Marcus Banks. He's eating up a considerable amount of salary and not doing anything. I don't know what other point guards are available for Nash's backup that aren't going to be ridiculously expensive (Bibby and Billups will both be over $10mil and would both want a starting job anyways).

I think the Suns really shouldn't mess with it too much. They've got pretty much the right formula already. San Antonio will be one year older and Phoenix will be one year better.

This team is solid. Rock solid. Tweaking it much would only cause Team Chemistry mishap. I believe they got duped during the whole Horry incident. I believed if the Suns were at full strength during Game Five that would have totally changed the series to the Suns favor. So a matter of minor tweaking is enough say adding more low post presence? or consistent guys who could step up under pressure packed games.

they only need about 2 veteran bench players.suns play run and gun so they get tired pretty quick so bench guys will be helpfull.when nash is resting the suns have no rythm so a veteran point guard would be solid someone like carlos aroyo cuase he plays very well as a backup and he doesnt eat up the salary cap.

Marion and Barbosa for Shaq? if the are
going for a title. if not they can wait and lose
again to SPURs. Both Marion and Barbosa
sucked agains SPURS. Shaq has 2 years left,
Amare, Shaq, Dia, Nash, Bell...that should win
a title. Shaq probably would love to play Kobe's
team in the playoffs, he can't do it in the east.
