The ability to pass Information from one Generation to the next. This is how We know of the Ancient Egyptian, Phonecian, Mayan, Inca, Aztec, Greek, Roman, and so many other vanished Civilizations. Once the Printing Press came into widespread use, this process was greatly accelerated. Now, the very Internet that We are utilizing at this very Moment, is an even more important step in that Direction. Perhaps at some Point in History, those that Hate, and wish to Kill one another will find a way to Communicate and settle their differences Peacefully by this enhanced ability to pass Information from one Generation to the Next. This would truly be " the best Contribution of Man to Mankind".
