that sounds as if she would be reffering to the intelligence of a woman. instead, this is how it should be. the beauty of a woman lies in her heart. a good heart, is a good person. no matter what you look like on the outside, just know this, you will always be beautiful on the inside.

well being a heterosexual male who actually likes women, the beauty of a woman is in her everything, her head, her heart, even the way she coughs lol... then again "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"... physical beauty is akin to an illusion so the real beauty lies in her heart and her head ^_^ (and everything else for that matter lol)

On her head, or in her head? So the beauty of a woman based on your sentence, you must be saying that a woman is basically a hat rack!

If the intended meaning is that a woman is as beautiful as she believes herself to be, yes, it's true for the woman herself.
As far as everyone else's opinions are concerned: Beauty is in EVERYONE'S heads- not just the woman's. What I mean is this: Beauty is not a matter of fact but rather a matter of one's perception of what beauty is. When a person realizes this, he/she is capable of truly freeing him/her self from the bondage of relying upon what others think of him/her for the purpose of achieving self-satisfaction and a high level of self-esteem.
If beauty wasn't a matter of one's own perception, opinions regarding beauty would not be so easily formed/shaped by societal norms. This doesn't mean that a woman (or a man) shouldn't seek to improve outward appearance. But your desire for self-improvement should be based upon what you desire for YOURSELF as opposed to what others expect people to look like. And, of course, if you are in a relationship, it's fair to compromise with your partner according to what he/she visually enjoys. After all, we cannot argue the fact that people are attracted to more than just emotion, personality, intellect, etc...
BOTTOM LINE: Try your best to feel good about yourself. You are the only one who has to live in your skin and walk in your shoes.

I'm usually pretty good with figuring out plays on words. But this one I'm stumped. The only thing I can think in reference to "lies on her head" is hair. Now "in her head" I could work with.

Sounds a lot like what my grandma always said, " A womans hair is her glory". I think there is some truth to it, and thats probably why I spend way too much on product. lol

on her head as in her hair? Or in her head, in which case yeah that makes a lot of sense. the way a person thinks and acts affects what other people think of her
