What now you tell me this? I've been trying to change the world and now you say I can't even change a person. Well at least maybe I might just maybe influence them to see things my way. lol I actually tend to forget that a lot and always want to help others change for the better. Of course only the ones I know personally or that I can influence anonymously. I'm to reserved to do otherwise unless you happen to get me riled up, then watch out! OK I'll try to accept it, maybe, if I have to.

It really depends on the situation, and the size of the person in need of a change.

I do believe that many people can become more educated on a topic... but I also believe one can't force another one to reconsider their vantagepoint.

However, I can wrestle any five year old into their pajamas and sing them softly to sleep.... effecting a change that may not otherwise occur without my interventions.

After my first marriage, I realized I couldn't change the person, but I still have a bad habit of trying to "fix" things for other people. It breaks my heart to see someone struggle, and I will be generous to a fault trying to make their life easier.

Yes, and then it's my choice to either have that person absent from my life or learn to be an even better person by becoming more understanding, longsuffering, and accommodating. The last choice is not easy but has long term benefits.

No I do not accept it...BECAUSE we can INFLUENCE ergo, we assist in initiatiing change...often our inspiration for someone or our compasion or even impassionedness causes this to take effect....not always however, YES i do believe tht it takes but one Man or woman to alter and change the course of all humankind!!!!

No, the day my wife first appeared before me, my life changed. You can change someone's life just by being there for them, saying one word or maybe no word at all!
