Alysiac7,
I have been practicing Scientific Natural Medicine for more than 20 years now, and have seen all sort of things and used all type of natural medicines known to western culture, and believe me when I tell you that unless your fungus has just started, there is nothing from natural medicines that will remove it. All natural remedies to treat nail fungus deal with it only localy or topically.
Fungus live in the blood and unless they are killed and removed from the blood, they will reproduce again and spread among toe's and finger nails.
That's why conventional medicine has developed potent anti-fungus medicine, such as Cyclosporine, to combat it from inside out, but the liver will probably be damaged.
An extreme measure will be to remove the affected nails through a doctor--a very painful procedure--, and then cleanse your blood to help it reset its pH or acid/base balance. Once you've achieved that, then will make sense to use powerful natural antibiotics to try to eliminate the problem. By the time your nails re-grow, you had removed most if not all of the fungus from blood. The bad news is that this only works but in few cases.
This is the awful but real truth about treating nail's fungus. So, don't fall for any of the cheap schemes out there promoting almost magic formulas to eradicate nail's fungus.
You can try all the so-called remedies available, wether homeopathic or just herbals, and though they may help you to get alliviated temporarily, after a couple of months you will see your toenail fungus coming back.
I once counseled a patient to get his liver in shape for two months with natural treatment, and then try the medical treatment to eradicate the fungus, and after that to take poreventive measures to avoid getting it back, if possible. It did work pretty well on him. :)

Yes, Alysiac, fungal infections are common on both fingernails and toenails. Toenails are more prone to be affected by fungus, as these living organisms thrive in dark damp environments available on the foot than on hand.
Tea tree oil is a potent natural antiseptic and fungicide that will help fight your fungus. Apply undiluted tea tree oil with olive oil to the affected toe nail. Alternatively you can put few drops of tea tree oil on toenails and rub it thoroughly every day.

try Black walnut oil or extract......but first cut the nail and file it down, wash with warm water and soap and dry with paper towels ( a cloth towel if used over and over will hold the infection) then apply the black walnut and allow to soak in for a few minutes. good luck.

You have to try this stuff, it really works. We use it for everything, and we also love the tea tree oil (not internally though). The grapefruit seed extract is an amazing source of anti fungal, anti bacterial, anti viral... protection.
