Rosie's. I'm Canadian, so the politics of the issue aren't as personal for me. But the fact of the matter is that Rosie asked Elizabeth a yes/no question and Elizabeth did NOT answer. She weasled, she tried to change the subject, she threw questions back at Rosie, but she didn't answer.
And one word would have ended the argument. All she had to do was say "yes" or "no". But she wouldn't do that.
Which leads me to believe that her ~real~ answer is "yes" - and she's just too chickensh~t to say that out loud. If her answer had been "no" then there would have been no problem in saying it.
And that's where the real problem is. So she showed herself to be closed-minded and gullible as well as a coward.

I am all for Elisabeth, Rosie is a rude and I can't stand hearing her whiney voice. Rosie is threatend by anyone who doesn't view the same way she does and Elisabeth has the right to back up her answer just because she didn't say yes or no right away doesn't mean she can't share her views. Rosie is a push over and afraid to hear what Elisabeth had to say. So who is the coward now? Rosie is VERY IMMATURE.

Elisabeth's in this case. Rosie needs to shut the heck up and quit putting words into Elisabeth's mouth. She just hammers and hammers until Elisabeth backs down. I'll bet Elisabeth wanted to reach across the table and smack Rosie. And I wouldn't have blamed her. Good TV. lol lol

Elisabeth - Rosie needs to be a little less abusive in her "discussions" with people.

Sorry but elisabeth is right on this issue everyone should have a right to voice his or her opinion without being talked over and Rosie is so good at shouting over people . also rosie just does not get the fact that nobody wants to hear her downing christians all the time and jumping all over ppl that oppose gays and lesbians . In other words rosie go away ,just go away .

I think Congress should pass a law in which people are now a Rosie or an Elizabeth instead of a Democrat or Republican?

I am on the View's side. Rosie and Elisabeth need to resolve their differences. They both are entitled to their opinions.
Barbara Walters created the show because she wanted women of different backgrounds, to express their opinions, for everyone to hear.
If you look at it from that "View" the show is as successful as a show can be. After all, it has everyone expressing their "View".

Rosie, but I don't mind EH and her views, because alot of people think like she does and if you don't have a debate about an issue, how will you be able to find the real truth?
EH did owe it to her "friend" to answer a simple "yes" or "no."
Just a thought, I have noticed that EH interrupts the others far more than Rosie. Watch closely, then count.

I will always take Rosie's side. Maybe her passion for issues sometimes overshadows the point she is trying to make, but if you listen and understand, you'll see that she pro-peace, pro-equality and pro-compassion. She has brought out the worst in Elisabeth, who tries so hard to be heard that she sounds like a desperate, whiny, circle-talking chihuahua.

I'm on Rosie's side all the way because Elisabeth chooses to ignore everything that's going on around her. To say, she's a news junkie she knows nothing. I mean, people have a right to feel the way they do but when we, as people, especially in this country, watch the news we have a choice to go by what the journalists are saying or to use our common sense. There are types of propoganda being used all around us no matter where we are. Elisabeth is falling under the Bandwagon propaganda because she's joined the party (the Republican side); This technique reinforces people's natural desire to be on the winning side. This technique is used to convince the audience that a program is an expression of an irresistible mass movement and that it is in their best interest to join, and this is the side Elisabeth is on meanwhile Rosie continues to use her common sense to view the news and what is going on around her which is very admirable.
