Please dont answer with something like "try unplugging it and plug it back in" or "Unplug it for a half hour and see if it works". I have tried about everything i can think of so dont list way obvious stuff.

And my light that is on is my power light on my tower. Not on the keyboard. Thanks though.

It's a power issue.

Remove the cord from both the wall socket and the back of the PC. Press the power button to drain the capacitors. Plug it back into the PC, then back into the wall.

Fire it up and it should work.

Under *NO* circumstances should you flash your BIOS for this problem. You run the risk of seriously farking up your PC if you do this.

I've seen this a couple times before and both times it was a power supply problem.

Pull the plug and plug it in again and try to fire it up. If it comes on, shut it down again and see if the lights stay on still. On my problem computers, the keyboard lights stayed on too.

You need to flash the BIOS memory.

Take out the battery on your motherboard. (Well, the procedure may differ so I'd call your OEM support first before you do this.)

You unplug the power cable yet keep the back/PSU power switch ON.

You hold down the power botton for 2 mins. (it actually doesn't take that long but.)

turn OFF the PSU power switch.

Put the motherboard battery back.

Plug the power cable back in.

turn ON the PSU power switch

boot

*should work if all of your hardware components are not faulty or damaged. Again, call your tech support since the procedure can be different depending on the type of PSU, motherboard etc. etc.
