Depends on where u live. if u live in the south, where its gets really hot and humid, you need to make sure that u plant them in part sun, usually getting only morning sun until about 1 pm. Nothing will worse for your azalea than putting it in full, hot, afternoon sun. The "coral bells" variety typically does better than most azaleas when getting more sun, but they still need to be planted in part sun. You also need to make sure u fertilize right after blooms appear in spring with a fertilizer specifically made for azalea, rhododendrons, and camellias. Most garden centers carry some type of this fertilizer. Just make sure u do not fertilize azaleas in fall, right before they go dormant. Hope this helps.

They like acidic soil. Sprinkl Epsom salts around the drip line and water in. Only prune After they bloom. If your area is dry, water. When buds set MiracleGro. Here in SC, they've allready bloomed. Beautiful.
You can propagate by laying a branch on the ground, still attached to the bush, and placing a brick on the branch. When it roots, remove brick, cut branch, relocate.
good luck
