i boil a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar on the stove to get rid of the musty, after winter house smell. it works very well for me. i also use it in my "swamp" cooler during the summer to clear up the calcium deposits and freshen the smell. seems to help with my sinus problems too.

My favorite was already suggested. I use it on my hair once a week, as a rinse, to remove build up from hairspray, and other hair products. Works wonders and leaves hair looking new again!
