I think they are still OK if you wear fun shoes and fun accessories. Long ones are a bit of a bore...

I think they are worth every single second of attention, because....
1. They have been in fashion for a long time now, and it's not leaving very soon
2. The color looks good on all skin tones
3. White looks casual enough for the beach, yet formal enough for a night out
4. They are super cute!

No, I don't think so at all. I always have a theme for the summer, and this summer everywhere you look it is the "nautica" theme. I think you'll be in style regardless of what your friends think. Just take a look at the Saks website, type in white sundresses and see what ya find. I don't think BCBG, Diane Von Furtenburg, Burberry, etc. are still in business b/c they put out of date items in style :) LOL
