Not only that, but this country was founded on the idea that anyone could come here and live "the American Dream." America started with people coming here from all different parts of the world--why are we so bothered by it now???

See the difference is, as American's we rarely immigrate to other countries in hopes of making a better life. I understand your frustration , but with more people comes more problems. There are only so many job in the US, and I think the people who have lived here, and were born here should have the chance to be employed. They can pay immigrants less because they know they will take it. It's not easy to get by in the US, it's expensive. We need good paying jobs.
We shouldn't have millions of Mexicans coming in demanding jobs, and rights. It's putting a strain on the residents that were here before you.
I don't mind you coming here to seek a better life, but quite honestly, we should have limits on how many are allowed to enter each year. What laws, services and jobs we have in place aren't so you and your 10 kids can come over and leech off of our society.
I wouldn't mind if you came here and worked, and didn't use our public welfare system, our Health Care system, or got tax refunds, you are taking money from all of the Americans that have paid more taxes than you ever will in your lifetime here.

People are misunderstanding the immigration issue. It isn't that people hate Mexicans, it is more that so many Mexicans are here illegally. We have many laws in this country and when someone breaks a law by coming here illegally, that is what people have a problem with.
Lately it has gotten worse because of the incredible number of people coming here. This country just can't handle the vast numbers of people coming here now. If 100 million Canadians came here within a few years, the response would be the same.

Mexican is not a race it is a nationality. It is sad that mexico does not take care of its people. YOu should be more upset at mexicos' government than at we Americans. It is not our fault your country is poor. If the illegal invaders are so much of an infastructure , why not do it in mexico where you want to be.
What you see as racism is really nationalism. Americans don't want our country to be like mexico. That place obviously sucks.
If you are an illegal invader you shouldn't be allowed to go to school here or maintain employment.
As a country we were doing fine when you folks were not here.

Yeah! I hear you. The Us wants to build a wall at the border. Who are they going to hire to build the wall? Mexican, that's right because that job is beneath some Americans.
Without those guys, no one will pick vegetables below minimum wage like Mexican do. We'll all have to pay a high price for produce and other things. When everyone has to pay $15 for a pound of tomato or buy it from other countries, they probably invite Mexican back to the states.

your first mistake is splitting people into an us and them groups, now whoever anwers will either support u or hate u. The same as the americans have done with this issue. I have leanred one thing from the so called espaced from poverty, after facing all the issues and problems that come with life i have decided that being poor is better than coming to the united states. Surem less money less fodd less clothing, but the food tastes better, the money is more apriciated and the clothing well nobody really cares about that. i wish i could make my own clothing that way would have to worry about what kids in what country i have taken advantaged of.

It's not fair. Nothing is fair in life. People are going to say things that you don't like. It's not just Mexicans. If you do your research you will see that "Americans" always think the latest group of immigrants will take their jobs. It's all bull. The only problem people have is that these illegals think they have rights. They aren't entitled to anything. That is what is getting people up in arms about things. The people who say they are taking over there jobs are just talking out of their bottoms instead of their mouths.

I know it must be frustrating. I know a lot about what Mexican's have to go through because my husband is Mexican and Portuguese. Some of our friends and family have gone through so much. One friend was kidnapped in Mexico because the kidnappers wanted the ransom money just to be able to eat. He brought his family over here just so they would be able to eat more than one meal a day. People should walk a mile in someone else's shoes before they judge them.

It's not your fault if you are legal to be in the US and yet still get picked on. I hope you are legal. I'm sorry you get picked on but here are just a few.
For one one, how about Mexicans claiming 6 dependents, when they are the only one?
Why do they work, when they know they are illegal immigrants?
Yes, alot of Mexicans are hard workers, and get paid lower than the average person, but here again, they claim ridiculous dependents on their taxes, give phony SS#, apply for welfare, and have cash on them all the time, and no bank account.
I have alot of Mexican friends, but do not like the way the try to cheat the system. They actually chuckle about it. Not right.

i agree, but i think the Mexican government should step up to this problem and provide more jobs for the Mexican people. America is not responsible for solving everyone's problems. don't get me wrong, i agree that America is a diverse country and thrives on Mexican workers, but it needs to be limited at some point.
