I was planning on enjoying a few beverages in a week or so, and was asking a friend if he could DD me so I wouldn't drive home drunk, or whatever. I know I am a Minor (20 years old, 21 this year, but I know that doesn't matter.) But, he thinks if he gets pulled over even while he has NOT been drinking he will get his license pulled or a ticket, I know if something like that were to happen I would get an MIP or whatnot, but what are the laws on the drivers part?

Your friend is correct, he could still be charged and convicted for Possession of Alcohol as a Minor for being at gathering where underage people or drinking, or driving other underage minors home from a party, even though there will be no direct evidence that he had alcohol; your BAC (blood alcohol level would be the evidence in the case), if he is under 21.

If he is over 21 and you are under 21, he can be charged with providing Alcohol to a Minor (even if he didn't provide it to you) and contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

The law is now even pursuing parents that provide alcohol for an underage party w/alcohol at their homes even if they are driving the kids home.

Don't put your friend in that position a better solution, don't drink when you are underage or call a cab.

You see what has happened in the good old USA. Can't even be a nice guy without having to worry about the cops. Don't worry there is very little you Can do in life without having to worry about the police. I was walking down the street one morning early and it was supposed to rain later so I had a umbrella that folds to be small and a woman in a car saw me and called the police and said I was carrying a gun. Two cars came and for jumped out with guns drawn and naturally I dropped the umbrella then two threw me to the ground and hand cuffed me. They even stepped on the lunch I was carrying in a brown paper bag. Then after realizing it was not a gun they said this is a warning so you better be very careful from now on.

It's against the law to buy alcohol with the intention of giving it to a minor.

He'll be charged with that, probably also with contributing to deliquency, AND if YOU hurt yourself or someone else HE can be legally responisble for your actions, and if you where to say drive and hit and kill someone he could be charged with manslaughter.
