Because you are a tender heart looking for love in all the wrong places. There is nothing wrong with computer love, but it has to be based on reality. Does he/she accept email or IM? If not, the relationship is over. They aren't looking. If they do, write first and include a picture of the real Dovey. Ask for a real (and recent) picture of the honest, funny, romantic person on the other end of the keyboard.

Let me burst your bubble. I've seen avatars on here, then looked in peoples 360 profiles and seen real photo's of them. Some are often 100+ years old and their avatars look 30-
its scary.

there is nothing wrong with you, you are an individual, you know different from other people. if you as me i suggest staying away from sites that have avatars. or perhaps finding someone to love you that is not an avatar. oh well, good luck with you situation :)
