what do you care most about: songs, videos, genre, looks, popularity, etc...?

The music. I actually have no clue what some of my favorite bands members look like. I never watch MTV, haven't seen a music video in ages, and the only radio station I listen to is a college radio station that plays alot of indie bands. So I am drawn to the music first and foremost.

I care about the songs. I avoid looking so I'm not disappointed and most of the time the band members don't write the songs anyway.

As far as bands go, no! I listen to alot of swedish nordic death/black metal. If you ever seen a guy, from a black metal band, not pretty. Videos would kill the band, genres definatly matter,

It's all about the music. They could be naked, but I still wouldn't go to their concert if they couldn't carry a tune in a wheelbarrow.
