The first toy I remember having was this metal play refrigerator it was avocado green (I was a child of the early 70s and EVERYTHING was avocado green!). I bet the thing was even painted with lead paint. Come to think of it maybe that is why people ask me if I ate paint chips as a child :)

The one I remember most was a tiny tears doll, made of hard plastic that you could feed with a bottle & she wet. Played with her for years till she rotted away form use or "love". I've seen her in pictures from the time I was 3 till probably 9 or 10. Just before barbie made her appearance in this world.

The first toy that I can remember ever playing with and taking everywhere was a little red radio/tape player. It had a microphone with it and I used to love singing through it. :) That made me happy to remember it, thank you!

First purchased toy was a rubber ball and jacks. Other than that, there was this stick I played with, and I remember beating on my grandmother's pots with it.

a big sorf winnie the pooh bear
the real kind, none of that illumious yellow cr*p disney have brought out. He was bigger than I was when I was 2. (I got him when I was a month old.)
he was destroyed by my father on a cleaning spree when I was about 11. He went into mine and my sisters rooms and binned everything.
He was/is a wierd and odd man who refuses to this day to admit he has mental health problems.

Not that I remember, but according to family stories, it was a red and blue ball thing my mom got at a Tupperware party. It was covered with different shaped openings and came with blocks you had to match to the openings. Apparently, it and I were inseparable.
