but, why would one person ask the same question over and over again.. ?? i've seen a few on here that keep asking the same questions over and over and over again?? what is the sense in that? and if they keep askin the same one.. why not just let that one question run for more than the three days ??? would it be almost obsessive compulsive? just curious on others thoughts.. not tryin to be picky here.. thanx

Just to add here.. I wanna be clear.. I am really asking this question out of curiousity. I was not trying to be a smart @$$. And if i was really all that smart, my life would not be in the situation that it is lol.. I just like to try and understand where people are coming from. Why they do what they do. I've noticed a few on here, that will ask the same question repeatedly, more than five times, upwards of 30 or 40 times. When i come across a question that does not quite settle with me, do not fully understand i will check the "asker's" profile for any prior info there that might help enlighten me a bit more on how to answer the question, not to be a snoop.. but if i care about the answer i give i want to make sure i am atleast on the right track for the most part and possibly help in a slight way. I guess.. I just think some are suffering so much over what they are asking and i feel badly for them and i guess just wish i could understand. My question was only asked out of curiousity

Stupid Question Maybe...?

Why do people ask the same question constantly? What is the sense in it? Let the question stand for three days and it's over. Do they have a compulsion? Just curious......not trying to be picky. Thank you.

Reads a lot better, doesn't it? Capitalization, punctuation, and coherent sentences do a lot to garner an answer.

You have told a very true thing..........
Yes some people keeps on asking the same question...But never think it is foolishness....There may be several reasons behind why he asks many times...They might be
1)That person might be expecting another cute answer from you
2)That person might be testing your patience(which is normally done in Interviews)
3)That person might be absent minded and he will forget every thing with in few minutes and to keep that in memory he might be trying
4)It also means he is testing whether you are sure about your answer or not(He will check whether you will say some other answer next time...It is usually seen in vivoe in Labs in colleges)
and many more reasons might be there....
These are few things which I have observed in others whom I have faced upto now....(My Experiences)
Did you face any one of these situations?

I am not sure. Either

A) They weren't satisfied with the answers they received yet

B) They want to be an annoyance

C) They just do not know how to work a computer/Yahoo Answers

D) They hope to gain points in some unusual way. Although, they are losing them as well.

We all got different DNA different habit.
Those who are new, those who do not know how to do what to do? those who do not get answer and they post their question again to get an answer.

Do you think the same person would like to loose points by asking same question again and again? think why that person is doing?

Will you say Why people get sick and get same disease? Why people commit crimes? some times we have to use our mind. All people are not smart as you are. Why not share our knowledge with them.

They do not get the answer they want to hear the first time. It is very annoying when they do this.
