Everything that is good & they turned out to be great law abiding loving citizans
I suppose a favourite saying was "never do to others what you would not want done to you" & making them feel loved 24/7
reading to them everynight & playing with them & I never punished them in anger meaning i never lashed out at them because i was in a bad mood

Great question - I gave you a star!
I have a 16 and 1 year old
The best thing a parent can teach their kids is 'you' the parent are their best mate, not just a parent - or old fart.
This way they respect you more, they won't hide things from you and can trust you with everything.!!!
It works both ways.

I would teach my children to never loose their sense of wonder. Children are brought into this world wondering about everything! they ask question, and explore. When we become adults, we often loose this curiosity and accept things as they are. You learn a lot more and do more if you wonder about things and try to figure them out, research, or experiment yourself!

The coolest thing I have got to tech my children is how to be gentlemen. You know hold the door Ladies first and respect their elders. It is the best when ppl tell me that I have great kids. It helps to know that I am not failing miserably as a mommy.

i'm purely giggling on the "functioning stoner" being whilst in comparison with a "functioning alcoholic". there is not any such element. As a convalescing alcoholic, permit me inform you - you're a inebriated. And your little ones will understand and the two save on with your footsteps or think of you're pathetic. Get sober now. for each individual's sake.

My first goal was to show them the unconditional love of God. After that I showed them the importance of working hard, being fair, and having fun. I homeschool mine so I also teach them a love of learning rather than making it another chore.
