There was plenty of crying on the news tonight involving dead soldiers and gang related murders. The death of a soldier is never good, and the death of an innocent because of the idiotic violence of others is cause for grief. Yet I have thought that intense grief and tears are meant to be kept in the family or in private. Greif is not a public thing to be done in fromt of TV cameras. Let me know if you agree,or if I am off base on this.

I agree 100%. My ex-husband used to work as a new photographer and I would criticize him by filming pictures of the victims themselves as well as the family members. I Know what the media says, "Well, the more we show the better our ratings go up" I believe that the deceased as WELL as the families should be left alone in time like these. I have no respect for new stations who show graphic murder/accident scenes." As a nurse though I describe to my children what people look like when they come into the unit from accidents or drug over doses. I want that ingrained into their heads that it CAN happen to anyone. I also believe that there should be a law passed that vicims of the families should have to sign a waiver giving the network permission to air the pictures. One of my best friends daughter was in a bus accident coming from a retreat where six teenage girls were killed. Wanna know how she found ou that one of them was her daughter? The pictures of the girls along with their names were flashed up on the television screen. Could you just imagine? Sometimes the media just makes me SICK.

I dont agree. The media is only going to interview those that want other people to know how much pain they are in. In violent murders we have a tendency to focus on the assailant and not the victims. As far as the soldiers are concerned I can only imagine the extreme grief that the families are experiencing. I thought about the soldiers family who was found just recently lying in a river.

Yes!
The news is becomeing a late night soap opera! Now, I know the family is sad & scared for their son, so I can understand wanting to see their reaction, but enough is enough!

Besides, greif should be dealt w./ on a personal basis & the whole world doesn't need to see!

Theres too much saddness in the world ! BE HAPPY DAMN IT!

Grief is personal for some people but others like to share so I guess in a way you are right.

have you ever tried action? often times they elect to be transferring at the same time as they doze off, see if she crashes in case you position her in a swing. you could also attempt securing her in her vehicle seat. often times children like the feeling they get from being secured into some thing like a vehicle seat. The crib at cases can sense very huge and open at the same time as they don't look used to it. Bouncer's do not look to do it (a minimum of with mine) now days they might---I see some fairly neat ones on the save with taller aspects that are more advantageous like a vehicle seat. attempt some thing that would sense like a cocoon on your daughter and be conscious if it helps. yet another element you could attempt is stripping her all the way down to her diaper, lay down mutually with her and get her skin to skin antagonistic on your tummy and chest. different poster are ideal also--it would want to correctly be teeth. Is she ingesting like regularly occurring? or pushing issues faraway from her mouth? drooling? (more advantageous than regularly occurring LOL) if its teeth all you may do is attempt to relive the discomfort. sturdy success! and recognize that you aren't to any extent further on my own, mom's around the international were there. If the screaming and crying get to be to a lot do no longer sense like a nasty mom in case you position her in her crib and go away the room for somewhat.

Only if their nose is running-can't stand it when they do that on network TV or movies. I'm out of there if there's snot on the screen. Tears if they're real are alright, when they mug for the camera, it's just sad that that's gotta be their 5 seconds of fame.

You know we lost probably the biggest cryer of the 80's last week Jerry Falwell. His picture will forever remain planted in my head saying " I have Sinned"

I get tired of seeing bad things happen to people period. As far as crying its normal ,but as far as famous people crying and making big scenes it goes way to far.
