I think some WANT to help you, and others WANT your money. Ive delt with many docs in the past 6 yrs. Some care, some dont....I think they charge too much too.*

Always remember that P.H.D. is just a license to "PRACTICE" medicine. Doctors are only human too. Some are really interested in helping people. God bless them. Then yeah you get some condescending pricks every now and then. I personally like to try the holistic approach first. However sometimes modern meds can be your cure. They do not know everything. You as a patient always have the right to your questions. You are able to get a second opinion any time. And, is recommended. Remember that it is up to you who your doc. is. Keep trying til you find someone who talks with you. Not at you! Good luck!

well doctors heal ppl, so u have to like them when you are seriously ill. BUT when u r not ill, there are some issues. like for example doctors are specialists so they might use their expert knowledge to take advantage of ppl. for example, research has shown that doctors will more likely perform casearean section on mums to be if they have less patients and are more likely to prescribe more medcine if less patients. if not, the dispensary will stop referring patients to that doctor. stuff like that but i guess they are pretty nice cos i just had a knee operation for a torn ligament and the doctor was quite a nice guy, although this is purely an opinion..

sure I certainly have. I actually hate it whilst they hand me a cup, ingredient on the door to the bathing room and say they want a urine pattern. extra circumstances than not, i purely can't do it! something psychological approximately peeing on command in an unusual place, i assume. I hate that. I additionally flinch approximately what the scientific expert is going to declare whilst they examine vavrious stages, like blood tension, AIC, or ldl cholesterol. Are they going to be off the charts? Is he going to place me on some ridiculously high priced meds i will hardly offord, etc. etc. each and every time i pass in there, they prefer my blood. i think of my dr. is a vampire in conceal.

I haven't found one I feel that is completely honest with me. I also think doctors have different mentality than most of the population. It's weird most doctors marry other doctors.

Sometimes I don't like doctors. Especially when they make you wait 4 hours for 10 minutes of advice.

i been to a few doctors that I thought could use a lesson in mannerism, but for the most part i have been to a lot of doctors who were good at what they do and courteous to their patients and explain things to you in layman's terms. The doctor that I have now is really good. i just thought about it he's been wanting me to come in for a check up.

thank you for asking this question
I find them condescending like the patient does not know they hurt unless they tell them they are
I have been misdiagnosed given antibiotics where no bacterial infection was present etc. etc. etc. doctors have generally done me more harm than good unless I had an obvious injury such as stitches
