I certainly believe they should be prosecuted. I just wonder if they are this way then aren't they doomed to make terrible choices like he did.

They need help. It will always be apart of their nature to do so, but if they can be stopped before they actually commit a crime, then I believe it is possible they can learn to deal with their problem.

Sorry Dear! He is not a sociopath. He is selfish and disregarded life but that does not make him a sociopath. Look up the definition in the DSM-IV-TR. Sociopaths can make good choices but by their nature they do not and are incarcerated.
