Well they do have far more dead civilians and a ruined country which is rapidly descending into anarchy... plus under American rule they were robbed of a large amount of money through no bid contracts that the American administrators spent their oil money on for shoddy rebuilding jobs that have already begun to degrade in many cases. The US has refused to allow independent auditors to view the financial records of their administration of the country so it's hard to tell just how much they stole. Basicly Saddam could in no way have been worse for the Iraqi people.

Not that the Iraqi people had much say either then or now really - the current government there is just a US puppet government like the one in South Vietnam was and isn't popular or able to oppose the US enough to get them to leave. Saddam wasn't a good leader (though I'd be curious to know where the evidence is that he killed 'millions' of his own people, thousands yes but ultimately not nearly on the scale that the US invasion has led to), though perhaps many Americans forget that the US essentially kept him in power and armed him for quite a lengthy period of time to begin with?

Actually many Muslims do not know how to govern themselves. Look at all of the trouble spots in the world and Islam is the common denominator.
If they had any sense of freedom, they would rise up against the terrorists that are blowing them up. The US would have been out of Iraq two years ago if the Islamic thugs had just accepted that their warped view of life is no life at all.

They had no choice. We invaded their country and Saddam. They have the choice now to ask us to go, since they have voted for a sovereign government. Just say the word, and were outta there.
