Jesus Christ you have to be kidding me. You could have drafted a young Joe Montana and it wouldn't be the year. What a weak team.

I would have to say no on this one because they still need to rebuild. The offense line needs help even if the Browns drafted Joe Thomas. they need help in the WR core. On defense they need help with the D-line. LB's McGinest is getting old and retire soon. DB's need to step up this year and hopefully that kid the Browns drafted in the 2nd round will be good and stay out of trouble. I think when Brady Quinn and Joe Thomas get use to the offense, they are going to be great. But for now I think Browns need a little more help.

Yes, it's the Browns year to lose twice to the Steelers AGAIN!! (What else did you expect to hear from a Steelers fan?)
Seriously, I wish the Browns were better. It was the best rivalry in football until Art Modell ruined it by moving the team to Baltimore.
The Browns are so bad now that Cincy has become our main rival.
I really hate the Bengals and their stupid fans. At least the Browns fans have some class and some football knowlege.
Good luck Browns fans.

No. Actually, a resounding no. The Cleveland Browns are a team that is 2 to 4 years away from reaching their potential. They have a lot of young players, but they lack veteran leadership. With the talent they've assembled, at least on paper, they have the potential to be a 7-9 team this season, potentially over .500 next season.

In a word, no. They'll need a couple of more seasons' worth of drafts and good trades, plus seasoning for Quinn, before we once again hear the words "Browns" and "playoffs" together without laughing out loud.

Joe Thomas is excellent but I don't think Brady Quinn can lead a team yet. He doesn't seem to do well under pressure. I really don't think he would do well in the NFL playoffs. Eventually, I think they will be a good team, though. This is a good start.

They could make a run at the playoffs...but realistically, they are breaking in the new players...so it will take time...Don't get me wrong...I am an ND fan, and therefore like Brady Quinn...I think he will be Rookie of the Year...

Vast improvement (6-10 would be a winning season), but this isn't there year. First they need to move on from the Kellen Winslow drama, before they really explode.

not this year. They have a good OL they drafted a franchise QB have a good WR in Edwards good Rb in Lewis and a good TE. They should go .500 this year but this wont be THE year just quite yet
