Depends on the CCA your vehicle needs from the battery to start. Mine needs 2 batteries with 1000 CCA each. Check with your manufacturer to find the recomended batter CCA and make sure it fits in the bracket for your battery.

Hey Dubb, YES IT DOES!!!! Have ya added any options to it,like amps or speakers or lites? If ya have ya may have to upgrade the alternator to to a higher amp. Get at least a 10" battery (ya might have to get the bigger battery tray from GM parts counter if it didn't come with one) 650 CCA is plenty to start your car. What is the most important is reserve( How long the car will run just on the battery with no options turned on)The best battery on the market for reserve power is the Delco 78 DT 72as it has a 120 min. reserve. And also a higher Cold Cranking Amperage. My friend in Muncie Ind used to drive his T Bucket from Muncie to Ft. Wayne and home on this battery without an alternatorI HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DELCO LINE AS THEY WERE RATED BEST IN PERFORMANCE BY CONSUMER REPORTS FOR YRS.

If you plan on driving your car till it dies, Delco Professional batteries are the way to fly. Measure your battery holder and drop in the largest battery with the most cold cranking amps.
I've seen them last 10-12 years and in my book that's the the true test of a battery.

you,ll need to have the parts store look up what it should have in it,and you can get a better battery for it with more cranking amps, and it will still be the same size, and will fit in the battery holder, but to be safe about it have a parts store look up what it should have in it,good luck hope this helps.
