Is there a "someone" in your life (aside from your parents/siblings/kids) that you once loved, maybe from a long time ago, but you did not end up with and whom you could not forget up to this day? Who is he/she? If you happen to meet again today, would your heart still beat as fast as it did when you were in love with him/her ages ago? Or there would only be memories?

yes I think there is that 'someone' in most peoples' lifes. everyone thought we would marry, probably even us but event didn't go that way and I have no idea where he maybe or what he does or even if he still lives but yes those memories of the first True love are still there and I am sure the heart rate would increase just from excitement of meeting an old friend. As I now have met my soul mate I doubt I would find them attractive still - prob fat and pompous LOL

I'm deeply in love with my wife, and no one else could make my heart beat fast the way she does.
I do still have some lingering warm feelings for certain old flames, but nothing remotely approaching love - because it never was love, just affection or infatuation.

Oh yeah - that boy was the love of my life and if I met him today my heart would probably skip a beat even though I'm with someone else now - loved his lips and his hair!

my heart still beats as fast and i still get butterflies....however we are only friends and have never dated or kissed. but when we see each other there is still an intense connection that we just don't talk about but we enjoy
