Yes, I enjoy the heck out of being single!
No one argues with me about what to eat, where to go, what to watch on TV.
I don't have to fret about whether a certain person likes me or not, what they're doing when they're not with me, no waiting for a phone call, wondering why he didn't call, no wondering whether or not I'll have a date on any particular night.
No negotiation and compromise. No snoring to put up with. No one getting mad at me because didn't iron their uniform just right. No one getting mad because the kids played too loud while they were oversleeping on Saturday.
I've been widowed once, divorced twice, still have a 19 year old & a 9 year old at home, so I'm never lonely. I'm great friends with my last ex. My adult daughter & I hang out frequently.

Maybe because I've been there and done that three times, and don't see any reason to do it again. Yes, I do miss what I had with my first husband, but the two mistakes I made since then have helped me decide that at this point it's not worth the ordeal of going through it again!

I've been single going on 2 years now, no dating at all.

I loved it when I had just gotten out of what I summed up to be a bad relationship - I really needed the time to recupe and draw some life lessons from the experience; just to take a break for me.

Up until a few months ago, I was fine, but now it's a bit tough. I would much rather be in a relationship with a good guy. I don't so much enjoy the solitude anymore.

Yes because I can focus on my needs before others. I know that sounds selfish but my life has been mostly stress free while i am single, but I do enjoy the companioship of dating every once and a while.

Being single allows you to be uncontrollably selfish - it is all about you, nobody else, which can be nice when it comes to television, dinner and weekend plans. Don't get me wrong - I would love to have a snuggle buddy, but I do appreciate the fact that I dont have to answer, impress or worry about a man! I can shave when I want and don't always have to make sure I am "presentable"....Awwwww, the freedom is great!

Yes. I live alone, and I have enough friends that come over and I go see to occupy my time. I don't want the hassle of arguing what we're gonna have for dinner, where to go for this or that, over the remote, or TV shows on, and I'm a neat freak, so I don't have to worry about someone else's clutter. I don't wanna be dragged off to places on the weekend when all I wanna do is veg out in front of Yahoo Answers!

been married, single, dated, in a LTR...what I like now is a close yet distanced LTR, someone who'll take care of me if something went wrong and vice versa, we have a great time, fun, but I don't have to get annoyed with his constant presence
