I just finished inlaying the name "Dan" in cursive on a fingerboard. It wasn't terribly fancy, it was a $350 upcharge while buying a new guitar.

If I would have had to inlay it on an existing neck the price would be about double since the frets have to be pulled, the old inlays removed, the fingerboard filled, and then the new inlay installed not to mention having to redo the fretwork and everything else.

I think it depends to some degree on the teachers ability and location. The reason I say location is because some of the other answers say things like £10 an hour. In London however I've found it to be around to be anywhere between £20-£45 an hour depending on the teacher. If by chance you live in London that's what you're looking at.
