Prince because he went on tour recently, he's making more appearances, still making songs and he can play any instrument and write his own music.

Damn this was the biggest question ever!..lol
They both are awesome. They put music on it's ear forever. Michael with his singing and dancing since childhood and Prince who taught himself to play 12 different instruments.
I would have to really call it a draw in the pure musical sense though I am a bigger MJ fan than Prince, but Prince has lasted into his 40's and is still goin strong singing and playing his instruments.
So I guess the badness meter stays in the middle!

I am a die-hard Prince fan since 1978 but I like MJ too. I think one is an artist,...Prince, and the other is a performer, ...MJ. They defy comparison.

They are both talented, but I'm riding with Prince on this because he is a musical and instrumental genius.

Michael has got more commercial appeal definitely.. but Prince has got some crazy killin' songs..
Oh God.
If I was to think commercial success, I'd go with MJ.
But then again, we see who is still showing off that sick talent.. and its Prince.
