I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. Speaking of rain, my new douche is rain scent. That's kinda silly, huh? Have I told you lately about my dog, ilene. She's a wonderful 3 legged pooch from the pound. I once went to band camp but I never played the flute. I have no idea why bikes are made that way. I love you GleN. Hope your wheelchair doesn't has crazy crossbars. Do I get those 10 freakin points, or not? Please let me have them, then again, it's just 10 stupid points. I see you lost that silly orange banner below your name. Sorry, that must suck. Have a great night, and drive carefully, all.

I think the bars are needed to make the frame strong. On older style women's bikes, the top tube slopes down but it's a tradition that carried over from when women wore skirts when they rode.

isabel is partly correct, girls bikes don't have cross bars,so girls didn't have to throw their leg over the seat, while wearing a skirt. back when girls had modesty.
