Its always nice to know who the father is. A test will settle it & yes you can go for support. However if he doesn't want to pay & he does want to see the baby you are now screwed. At lweast in the state of GA. To collect the mother has to take him back to court , pay the attorney, get a judgement, garnish his pay, he can quit his job & you start all over again. He on the other hand can call the police(even when he is not paying) say She will not let me have ___ for visitation & they can come with him, he gets the baby & you go to jail. REAL FAIR

I would assume that she needs to get a dna test for paternity but the child support if he pays is worth it! What coudl she be hiding? a secret relationship? not likely. It does take alot of energy to take comeone to court and have paternity established

A paternity test will clear the air as to whether he is or not .
If he is HE should be responsible for the life he helpt create.
You should stay clear till the dust settles and not jump in till you are sure this is where you want to rest your member.
Good Luck, THINK about it.

Well, personally, if my man denied my child I would quickly put his *** on child support. Maybe she is afraid that he is going to request a paternity test. Maybe shes unsure of herself. Maybe she should call Maury.

It could be a number of reasons. But you never know.
She should take him to court though, why should she raise this kid alone. I would've put him on child support from day 1

Depends on whether he's the father or not. Children are a serious responsibility to be upheld by both people. But, hey, that's just me...

Sounds like he isn't the father. If he was she would go after him for support
