like what? one big one is that the america/canada border is the longest non militarized border in the world, or are you talking about older history and how that border was decided?

You need to be more specific about the time frame. At times relations were quite close, at other times more strained.
Of course there was the War of 1812, but that was a long time ago.
We differ on some important points such as the United Nations at times.
Try to look up information about the Prime Minister during the time frame you need to refer to and see how well they related to the US President. Were there any significant international problems or incidents? Did we agree or disagree on them?
You need a time frame to narrow down your question.
