Yes, the Spurs can win another championship. They have a couple of old guys on their roster (Finley and Ratliff are both 36) but those guys don't play significant minutes. Duncan is 33 and Ginoboli is 32, so while they're no longer in their prime, they still can be effective, productive players. Parker is 27 and Jefferson is 29, so those two guys are just into the prime of their careers. The Spurs have started slowly this year, like they do most every year, and they've been hit by injuries. Popovich has been very careful about managing minutes and spreading the ball around, so virtually the entire roster is averaging between 18 and 32 minutes per game. Duncan has the most mpg at 31.9. Pop will increase the workload on his stars as the season goes along, work in some more plays to help the defense, and try to get the Spurs into the playoffs playing their best ball of the season, and with everyone rested and healthy. If he can do that, the Spurs will be favored against any other Western team except the Lakers.

Answering from Detroit!! No the Pistons won't win and the yahoo that said the Cavs will win is nuts!
The Pistons will only make it to the finals because the Eastern conference is a joke.

I think San Antonio will have their fourth championship trophy this year.
Defense wins championship! And the spurs are the no. 1 team defensively this year.
I can't believe Flip saunders wanted offense over Defense. Detroit won a championship because of Defense. If ever its a Spurs-pistons finals(99%), Saunders will be regreting it.

I KNOW they will. They just always find a way to pull off a key win. Utah looks like they've already accepted defeat. The Spurs looked like they were just toying with them in game 2. Timmy D. will prove that he's the greatest power forward of all time.

I really dont like the Spurs at all..but its looking like there going to, they got a great team, with the defense of Timmy D, then guards like Manu and Parker, and all great offensively..I say if anyone can stop em, it will have to be the Pistons.
