Lots of things my granny was a gypsy.

Weeping willows in your yard are bad luck.
Peacock feathers in your house are bad luck.
Rocking chairs rocking by itself means someone will die.
Bad things come in threes.
See an owl someone you know will die.
Only pick up pennies that are heads up, it is bad luck to pick them up if they are tails up.
Rain on your wedding day is good luck.

This list could go on forever!

I am not normally superstitious about anything, but recently, a gray business suit. When I got a phone call at work telling me my dad had died, I was wearing a gray suit. When I got a call at work telling me my mom's sister, my aunt , had died, I was wearing that same gray suit. I put that gray suit in the trash the first chance I got. No one else has died in my family since. God Bless!

interesting

I'm weird about not jinxing things.
I have to believe in my mind that things are good/okay, and not just say it.

I don't say anything bad about my car, because I don't want to jinx it. It is a 1991 ford escort...with some problems. but I tell it I love it..and rub the dash board. tell her she is doing a good job. wow. this is getting weird...
